In the first CBT, F.E.A.R. Origin Online will offer 3 playable game modes: Scenario Mode, Defense Mode and Original Mode as well as a wide variety of quests for players to experience.

FEAR Origin Online Scenario Mode

The Scenario Mode will present brand new stories based on the original game content. The Defense Mode is a PVP combat mode allowing characters to transform into ghosts and fight against AI robots using various weapons. It is learnt that some special weapons like shotguns and rifles and so on have been added into the game.

The Defense Mode supports 8 participants at most, who will be ranked based on their scores when the combat ends. The Original Mode is a common FPS game mode that allows two groups or factions to perform PVP in specific terrifying areas.

Currently, Inplay Interactive is looking for partners to publish F.E.A.R. Origin Online, and it is expected to reveal the game’s exact CBT date and other details about the CBT soon.

Report says that Warner Bros. Entertainment has become the investor and shareholder of Inplay Interactive, and the Korean developer is licensed to use the IPs owned by Warner Bros. Entertainment. There’s no detailed info about how the Korean version of LOTRO and Batman MMO will look like. It’s believed that Inplay’s LOTRO will be completely different to Turbine’s, and it might go to the AOS style.

Turbine’s LOTRO released in Korea in 2008 but shut down in 2010. LOTRO wasn’t the only western MMORPG that met its Waterloo in Korea, and EA’s Warhammer Online also closed down in Korea in 2010.

We are announcing that Hunter Blade Closed Beta Test will end at 0:00 on October 3, 2011(PDT). The server will be closed then, which will be opened at the end of October, while the Open Beta Test will start.

New instances and new game plays will be added in the open beta, along with the rise of level cap(from 60 to 70). Hunter Blade promises players a complete new world where players will take upon their weapons with friends to explore and adventure. Characters created in CBT will be deleted but the event rewards in CBT will still be sent to winners if they create new characters in the first week of OBT.
