Dungeons & Dragons Online Announced First Expansion, Due in Summer 2012
Turbine’s Dungeons & Dragons Online will turn 6 next month, but the free-to-play MMORPG just announced its first expansion. Menace of the Underdark is a massive update that expands the game into the beloved Forgotten Realms, and there will be a whole new storyline, an increased level cap, the new Druid class and much more. Menace of the Underdark will release in summer 2012.
DDO turned to free-to-play in 2009 and expanded its player based, and in the following 2 years, the release of numbers of updates continuously offered gamers fresh contents. 2012 will be the biggest year for DDO with the release of Menace of the Underdark expansion.
